Project Description:

  • Multi-faceted capital improvement project for a two-building, 354,000 square foot, Class A office and retail complex. The project included the rehabilitation of the main visitor parking lot, retaining wall restorations, and installation of new concrete walkways around the Metro North train platforms.
  • Retaining Wall Restoration: Restored three retaining walls adjacent to the train platform while removing the existing elastomeric coatings from each retaining wall. Walls were then coated with a breathable stain. New sidewalk panels, safety railings, and drainage were also installed.
  • Visitor Parking Lot Rehabilitation: Removed existing asphalt and concrete topping slabs, repaired underlying waterproofing membrane, and installed a concrete sub-base and new asphalt pavers.
  • Construction management services included: constructability review, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
