Project Description:
- Construction of a new 22,000 sq. ft. steel and concrete building housing a 12-classroom early childhood education facility, including a new gymnasium with supporting locker rooms and a prayer chapel. Work began with demolition of the existing school building.
- Energy initiatives included a solar roof, high-efficiency boilers & water heaters for hydronic radiant floor heating and domestic water systems, and a high-performing building envelope designed for superior energy efficiency.
- Building construction featured a masonry exterior facade combining brick, full stone, and composite trim, along with a concrete tile roof system equipped with integral solar panels.Site improvements included an expanded parking lot, modifications to the existing church parking and main entry driveway, and a new great lawn with playground.
- Construction management services included: constructability review, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
