Project Description:
- Construction of a new 21,000 square foot performing arts center and classroom extension fully integrated into the existing school structures with extensive site work. Site is adjacent to the main entry road and student drop-off/pick-up area.
- Center included a 441-seat auditorium, stage, fly loft, orchestra pit, catwalk, 2,000 square foot glass enclosed reception lobby, pantry, restrooms, coat room, and storage. Work also included audio visual room and facilities, mechanical systems, and stairs tied into site work.
- Classroom extension included dressing rooms, costume storage, and scene shop on lower level and four classrooms on upper level tied into the existing upper school portion of the campus.
- Site work included replacement of existing septic system with a force main, fiber optic and electrical service, courtyard with stepped seating for an outdoor classroom, stairs, and connecting paths.
- Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
