Project Description:
- Renovation of a former Clairol factory for an extensive sports and entertainment center. A new main entrance, central core with lobby and elevators, and offices were developed. Facilities also include a day care center for babysitting, a café, and sitting area, and a mezzanine for viewing the sports.
- Family aquatic center includes an Olympic size pool with a 30-foot movable floor and a smaller pool for teaching people how to swim.
- Two ice rinks sized for general skating, figure skating and ice hockey (meet National Hockey League size standards).
- Racquet sports include 12 squash courts in the existing structure and seven tennis courts in a pre-fabricated building on the roof of the existing structure.
- A second pre-fabricated building was placed on the roof to house an indoor field striped for soccer, football, lacrosse, baseball, and field hockey. It also includes two basketball courts.
- Other training areas include fitness center, gymnastics center with trampolines, and batting cages.
