Andrew B. Ashforth, CEO & President of A.P. Construction Company, was presented with the Martin S. Berger Lifetime Achievement Award by the March of Dimes NY Market during its Westchester/Fairfield Real Estate Awards Breakfast on Thursday, November 2, at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, NY.

The Martin S. Berger Award for Lifetime Achievement is a prestigious award that acknowledges individuals for outstanding accomplishments in the real estate industry and in service to the community during their lifetime. Recipients exemplify the Berger legacy in business, family, and charity. March of Dimes also honored Greystar, another pillar of the real estate industry, with the March of Dimes Real Estate Award.

“On behalf of my family, the company, and our dedicated employees, I am truly honored to receive this award. The tribute holds special significance for us at The Ashforth Company because we’ve been long-time supporters of the March of Dimes and the real estate breakfast since 1996 when we were honored to receive the first Fairfield County Real Estate Award,” said Ashforth. Ashforth added, “We also thank the entire real estate and built communities for supporting the March of Dimes for over 35 years, and special thanks to the March of Dimes, for its extraordinary contribution and fight to help all moms and babies.”

For the first time, the two counties joined together for the March of Dimes Real Estate Awards Breakfast to create and continue as one unified event, all working together to support the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of moms and babies. Thanks to the generosity of the real estate community, the annual Real Estate Awards Breakfast has grown into a leading testimonial for March of Dimes nationally and is known as the real estate and built environment networking event of the year in the communities.

March of Dimes works to end premature births, end preventable maternal health risks and death, and end the health equity gap for moms and babies.
