Project Description:
- Phased lobby renovation of four office buildings. All work installed and completed under occupied conditions.
- Worked directly with the property manager, fire marshal and town officials to meet code requirements and maintain a safe work environment at all times throughout the construction.
- Renovations included new glass entrance doors, refinishing exterior soffits and columns, stone flooring, custom wood veneer wall panels, new ceilings and lighting as well as new signage.
- Created temporary walk ways for tenant access/egress to glass entrance doors and elevators. Coordinated with the property manager to ensure building egress paths were maintained at all times.
- Design addressed building code upgrades including accessibility and life safety.
- Project met the requirements of LEED O&M (Operations & Maintenance) Silver certification.
- Construction management services included: constructability review, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, pre-purchase program, scheduling and construction, documentation of sustainability construction activities for LEED O&M Silver certification.
