  • Over the past 10 years, A.P. Construction has been awarded 6 construction projects for Brunswick School. Totaling over 200,000 square feet, the projects completed include new school structures, additions, interior and exterior renovations, a boathouse, faculty housing, sports facilities, and site work.
  • Construction management services included: constructability review, budgeting, design support, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
Notable Projects Featured

Upper Middle School
46,000 sq. ft.; Shoreline Design Group, LLC

  • Fast-paced project to convert the former Paul Tudor Jones office building into an educational facility. Work on three levels was completed in 80 days to be ready for occupancy before the start of the school year.
  • Conversion of a former gym into an assembly space, extensive renovations to develop classrooms, laboratory classes, library, art room, and administrative offices, plus mechanical upgrades, site work, and structural improvements.

Faculty Housing
4,600 sq. ft.; 7 units; Shoreline Design Group, LLC

  • Project involved site preparation – foundations, utility connections, stairs and access ramps between units, and parking lot – for seven modular faculty housing units, each with two or three bedrooms.

Falco Rowing Center
9,800 sq. ft.; Peterson Architects

  • Demolition of an existing structure and construction of a new two-story boathouse. Ground floor has two 80-ft-long boat storage bays and one 65-ft-long bay. Second floor has room for exercise machines, changing rooms and restrooms. Site work included a public waterfront walkway, parking, and landscaping.

Lake Avenue Campus – Phase I
23,000 sq. ft.; 1,200 sq. ft. maintenance building; Shoreline Design Group, LLC

  • Complete interior renovation of Pre-K & Kindergarten and day care buildings including mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, new building finishes, energy-efficient windows and doors. A new playground was also constructed.
  • Ground-up construction of a new 1,200 sq. ft. maintenance building. The stand-alone facility provides equipment maintenance & storage for the 17-acre Lake Avenue campus.

Lake Avenue Campus – Phase II
37,000 sq. ft.; Shoreline Design Group, LLC

  • 37,000 sq. ft. renovation of three historic educational buildings originally built in 1906 into 18 faculty housing units for the Brunswick staff.
  • Renovations and upgrades to Buildings 1, 2, & 4 which are all interconnected and have varying unit sizes from studios to three-bedrooms.
