Project Description:

  • Interior renovation to create headquarters for Stamford based company. Facilities included reception area, open work stations, offices, conference facilities, pantries, lunch room, and connecting stair.
  • KI wall systems were used for all office and conference rooms fronts with sliding doors.
  • Connecting stair in post-tension building required extensive shoring, new structural steel, cutting of no more than three cables at a time and preparation for future infill. Stair was key factor in establishing the schedule.
  • Construction completed on top two floors of an occupied building with special logistical measures required to avoid disturbance of other tenants.
  • Extensive conference facilities on both floors coordinated with audio visual systems, lighting, and high end finishes.
  • Decorative metal ceiling connects reception area with adjacent elevator lobby.
  • Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
