Project Description:
- Project expanded the existing Senior Center structure by approximately 5,000 square feet while the facility remained open and in active use by seniors. The new one story wing includes a large fitness center, library, lecture hall, two activity rooms, restrooms, offices, and storage.
- The existing 8,000 square foot structure was renovated where the new wing was attached and in specific areas throughout the building.
- Site work included extensive regrading, drainage structures, 27 new parking spaces with a full turn around and an emergency access road.
- Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, logistical planning, safety planning, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
