Project Description:
- Complete demolition and reconstruction of the main clubhouse (54,000 sf), pool and pool house (7,400 sf).
- Major improvements to the property infrastructure included the water distribution, septic, fire protection and electrical distribution systems, and telecom fibre backbone.
- An additional level of coordination was required as the club maintained full operation. This required the construction of a temporary clubhouse complex on site and careful coordination given the changes to the major service systems.
- The Clubhouse consists of four separate levels including cart storage/charging area, men’s and women’s locker rooms, pro shop, golf bag storage/club room, card rooms, banquet hall, two full service large scale community kitchens, grill room, two elevators, two fireplaces, living rooms, exterior covered terraces, sundeck, living quarters for 19 employees, outdoor bathrooms and management offices/executive areas.
- High end finishes include extensive millwork, tile and granite, Axminster carpet, wood and bluestone floors.
- Building infrastructure includes two elevators, two emergency generators, fire pump, extensive data/video/sound wiring, BMS and re-circulating hot water system.
- Construction management services included: budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling and construction.
