Project Description:
- Complete removal and replacement of the existing pool and pool house with a new two story pool house building, new competition size swimming pool and zero entrance wading pool and landscape plan for surrounding area. The pool size was increased in width in order to meet competition level pool requirements and serves up to
180 swimmers. - The pool house is a 6,000 square foot wood framed and stucco building with a pre-manufactured roof truss system, custom millwork, doors, windows and transoms.
- The new pool house has a double height food service and eatery complete with grill, salad bar, walk-in coolers, beverage service and indoor seating for 24 members. The lower level of the pool building houses all of the pool equipment and the electrical switch gear room which feeds the main clubhouse and pool house.
- The surrounding pool deck is of manufactured stone and the sleek pool gutter design cantilevers the deck over the gutter thereby eliminating the need for trench grates in the walk way surfaces.
- The lawn areas surrounding the pool were extended to accommodate additional lounge seating. This work resulted in the installation of a new drainage and irrigation systems and new site lighting and landscaping.
- Construction management services included: constructability review, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling construction and commissioning oversight.
