Project Description:

• Project required the construction of new medical offices on three floors. The Stamford Medical Office Building has a four-level garage with three floors of office space above. The structure was still under construction while completing the medical offices which required close coordination with the owner and base building contractor.
• Floors five and six included large check-in/waiting areas and a complete build out of the floor with medical offices on the perimeter, exam rooms located around work areas, conference rooms, administration areas, clean and dirty rooms, and staff lounges. Work on the fourth floor was limited to one practice.
• Specialty areas included a blood lab, burn recovery with hyperbolic chambers, x-ray room and facilities for stress testing.
• Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, logistical planning, safety planning, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
