Project Description:

  • Conversion of a long unused factory and garage building into a high-end car manufacturing facility. Work represented the first of a multi-phase renovation process.
  • Special features included the addition of a pantry and restrooms, highly resilient epoxy floors, painted exterior branding, premium accent lighting & trim, and an airplane/helicopter parking area. New overhead doors, fire protection and fire alarm systems were installed.
  • New utility connections for gas, water, septic, and electric were constructed along with complete repaving of the driveway and parking lot.
  • Working next to an active airport runway required permitting from the FAA for roof replacement and solar panels. Project featured a new driveway connection to the runway for test driving cars.
  • Worked closely with client on fine adjustments of finish work to accommodate the project’s aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Construction management services included: budgeting, value engineering, constructability reviews, logistical and safety planning, scheduling, mock-up facilitation, material procurement, subcontractor bid & award, and construction.
