Project Description:
- Interior renovation to create headquarters for Stamford based company. Facilities included reception area, open work stations, offices, conference facilities, pantries, lunch room, and connecting stair.
- KI wall systems were used for all office and conference rooms fronts with sliding doors.
- Connecting stair in post-tension building required extensive shoring, new structural steel, cutting of no more than three cables at a time and preparation for future infill. Stair was key factor in establishing the schedule.
- Construction completed on top two floors of an occupied building with special logistical measures required to avoid disturbance of other tenants.
- Extensive conference facilities on both floors coordinated with audio visual systems, lighting, and high end finishes.
- Decorative metal ceiling connects reception area with adjacent elevator lobby.
- Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
