Project Description:
- Project completed in two phases over consecutive winters. Phase 1 consisted of a new addition to the clubhouse and interior renovations. Phase 2 was primarily interior renovations and a new deck.
- Phase 1: New addition consisted of a grill room, bar and lounge, private dining rooms, and kitchen on upper level and service areas on lower level. Dining areas have expansive views of golf course, high end finishes, vaulted and coffered ceilings, custom bar with stained wood and granite top, built-in cabinetry, and a fireplace. Commercial kitchen has full hot line and cold line preparation areas, hood, epoxy floors, and service elevator to receiving and storage rooms below.
- Renovation work included replacement of an existing stair with a custom fabricated spiral stair, entry lobby, ladies card room, bridal suite, restrooms, and the ladies locker room including all new shower facilities.
- Exterior work included traditional colonial clapboard siding, roof railings, ornamental Azak trim, and fully concealed roof top mechanical units. New bluestone terraces were built on the west side of the grill room and off the south side of the bar. A porte-cochere was added to the front entrance.
- Phase 2: Major renovation to the men’s locker room, card room, bar, steam room, barber shop, and massage room. Work required structural modifications, shoring of existing structures for new footings, and new mechanical systems. Exterior work included viewing deck looking over driving range.
- Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, schedule analysis, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, construction, and close out.
