Project Description:
- Entire project consisting of forty-two phases, fourteen to fifteen phases per school, was completed on time, within budget and with minimal disruptions to the educational process.
- Exterior modifications included extensive site improvements, including athletic fields, parking areas, playgrounds and landscaping.
- Improvements and upgrades to HVAC, electrical, heating and life safety systems.
- Installation of a state-of-the-art fiber-optic communications system, serving as a link between the three schools.
EAST SCHOOL
- Project included a 30,000 square foot building addition consisting of two classroom wings, gymnasium, administrative offices, kitchen and “cafetorium,” and a 50,000 sq. ft. renovation to the existing structure.
- Despite unsuitable soil conditions, resulting in a three-month delay, the project was completed on time and within budget.
SOUTH SCHOOL
- Building additions totaling 30,000 square feet included two large classroom wings and media center.
- 50,000 square feet of interior renovations to existing classrooms, gymnasium and “cafetorium.”
WEST SCHOOL
- New 25,000 square foot addition to existing structure, including sixteen new classrooms, two science labs and a gymnasium.
- 55,000 square feet of interior renovations included additions to the administrative offices, kitchen, new “cafetorium” and new media center.
