Project Description:
- Completed a challenging, 23,000 square foot, fast-track relocation project in nine weeks. The project was the first in a recently vacated building and was constructed on existing raised floor.
- Due to tight schedule, design team agreed to an expedited review of submittals and requests for information. KPMG made use of their national contacts to obtain materials with long lead times in an expedited schedule.
- Scope of work included offices, 170 work stations in open areas, conference rooms, project rooms, phone rooms, reception and hub, and support spaces.
- Design included a large multi-purpose room with a folding center wall, break-out room and kitchen. Offices have glass fronts and doors; ceilings are a mix of acoustical, sheet rock, and open.
- Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, logistical planning, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
