Project Description:
- The project involved constructing the out-of-the-ground, 39,500 square foot Lower School, a new, three-story structure with ten classrooms, multiple flex spaces, a 200-seat auditorium, a library, a computer lab, conference rooms, a faculty lounge, and offices.
- The new structure’s exterior was finished with a combination of curtain walls, stone, and stained cedar bat and board siding. These materials are used throughout the campus, which creates a harmonious blend of new and existing structures.
- The site work included the construction of a new parking lot and sidewalks, landscaping and hardscaping, and creating green spaces with congregational areas for the students.
- All construction was performed on an occupied school campus. Careful logistic and safety planning was coordinated with the school to ensure minimum disruption to the students and faculty and safe separation from construction activities.
- Construction Management services included: budgeting, value engineering, constructibility reviews, logistical and safety planning, scheduling, mock-up facilitation, material procurement, subcontractor bid & award, and construction.
