Project Description:
- Work included both extensive renovation of the existing facility and several additions.
- Renovations included work to the primary truck bays to replace a 4,000 square foot raised slab and replace the structural columns and beams and a reorganization of the office area to create five offices, three restrooms, a break area, a bunk room, and conference facilities.
- New additions included a wash bay, a mechanics bay and a two story addition for the Board of Education with two bays above and two bays below.
- Fuel distribution system was reorganized with new storage depot, and fuel supply pumps with canopy cover.
- Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, logistical planning, safety planning, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
