Project Description:
- Project included the removal of an existing structure and construction of a new two story boathouse. Ground floor has two 80-foot-long boat storage bays and one 65-foot-long bay plus a small elevator lobby. Second floor has room for exercise machines, changing rooms and restroom facilities.
- Exterior features a standing seam roof and two types of siding: clapboard on the lower areas and shingle above, both made of cement board products.
- Site work included a public waterfront walkway, parking and landscaping. Bulkhead and docks were by the Owner.
- Construction management services included budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, scheduling and construction.
