Project Description:
- Work was for the first phase of a two phase project and included the construction of a new 16 bay equipment storage garage, a material storage building, open material storage bins, and a water retention basin for both phases. The second phase will include an expansion of the garage with offices and a new equipment maintenance garage, a new environmental management center, and relocation of the club’s paddle tennis facilities.
- Site work included extensive grading to reshape an existing slope and create a level building area, retaining walls, paving, and an extensive storm water drainage system.
- New garage was constructed in six months using a pre-fabricated building system by CMS Buildings. An extremely high water table required modification to the foundation and slab designs. The phased construction of the garage required us to develop solutions that would allow the building to be expanded in the second phase without major modification to the completed construction.
