Project Description:
- Removal and relocation of two existing pools to a new location. New zero entry wading pool is 30 x 40. The main pool is approximately 5,400 sf and includes a ten foot deep diving area.
- Due to the close proximity to the Long Island Sound and the high water table it was necessary to anchor the piers to bedrock and then anchor the new pool structures to the piers.
- Pool decking and seating terraces are concrete with bluestone feature strips.
- Site work included extensive de-watering to install pool piers to offset the high water table and tidal issues. All excavated rock was crushed and reused on site.
- New 3,000 sf pool house includes a pool equipment room, bathrooms, staff room with lockers, first aid and lifeguard office.
- New covered beach bar with an open air deck.
- All work required NYS Flood Zone Approvals.
