Project Description:
- Construction of new two story 14,000 square foot office building with a small lobby and parking for forty vehicles on the ground level. Project site was extremely tight with an existing office building on one side and an active entry drive plus Interstate 95 on the other.
- Substantial completion was achieved in less than seven months using a compressed schedule. Changes were kept to a minimum (less than two percent of the original contract value) to maintain Owner’s budget.
- Structural elements included a steel frame with a brick veneer. Open cell insulation was used to provide thermal and acoustical properties due to the proximity to the interstate. Windows were installed with low E glazing.
- Complete finish of interior offices with low VOC finishes. Spaces included offices, open areas, restrooms, pantry, and conference facilities with audio visual capabilities.
