Project Description:
- Complete interior demolition and renovation of three-story, multi-use, historic building in downtown New Canaan.
- Exterior renovation included restoration of brick walls, new windows, new metal cornice and frieze, new wood and glass storefronts, new roof and brick sidewalls.
- Base building upgrades included sprinkler system, high efficiency HVAC rooftop units, radiant heating at offices, new 1200 amp electrical service and installation of new passenger elevator.
- Interior fit out for three retail shops, two floors of office space and fitness center with locker rooms in basement. Finishes included extensive wood and glass millwork, office fronts, hickory wood floors, decorative ceilings and lighting.
- Construction management services included: constructability review, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling and construction.
