A.P. Construction Company is pleased to announce the leadership promotions of Mark Kammerer as Vice President of Construction; Reid Nystrom as Vice President of Construction; Dimitri Seferidis as Director of Preconstruction; and the new hiring of Jim Cecil as Vice President of Business Development.
“Recently celebrating APC’s 40th year in business, we remain committed to investing in our next generation of leadership as we continue to expand and strengthen the breadth of our construction services and enhance APC’s position as a leader in the region,” said Andrew Ashforth, Co-CEO of The Ashforth Company and CEO & President of APC.

I am excited to have Mark, Reid, Dimitri, and now Jim join our leadership team,” added Jason Hart, Chief Operating Officer of APC.
Mark joined APC in 2006 and has over 30 years of construction experience. His areas of expertise include country clubs, sports and entertainment centers, athletic facilities, assisted living facilities, high-end housing, and office buildings. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Colorado State University and is a member of the Construction Institute. Kammerer is a resident of Norwalk, CT.
Reid has been with APC for 14 years. In his most recent role with the company, he was a Project Director where he oversaw numerous fast-track corporate interiors and capital improvement projects annually ranging in size from minor renovations to multi-floor fit-outs for hospitals, medical offices, office buildings, corporate headquarters, and fitness centers. Reid holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University and a Diploma in Construction Management Business Administration from New York University. He is a member of NAIOP CT and REFA’s Fairfield/Westchester Chapter. Nystrom is a resident of Mahopac, NY.
Dimitri has 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He joined APC five years ago as a Project Manager. Prior to his tenure at APC, he was a Project Manager for construction firms based in Long Island and Queens, NY. He completed coursework in Theology from Fairfield University. Seferidis is a resident of Norwalk, CT.
Jim has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to his return, Jim was previously Director of Business Development with APC for three years. In his new role, he will oversee APC’s business development initiatives and continually strengthen our customer relationships. Jim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Western Connecticut State University. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Construction Institute and also a member of NAIOP CT, BOMA-CT, and REFA’s Fairfield/Westchester Chapter. Jim is a resident of Brookfield, CT.
