Jason Hart is Chief Operating Officer of A.P. Construction Company, a division of The Ashforth Company. He is responsible for the overall management of the Company including field operations, preconstruction services, estimating, accounting, human resources, administration, and business development. Jason is a member of A.P. Construction’s executive committee which helps develop and implement new strategic initiatives for the Company.

Jason has 20 years of experience in the construction industry as managing director, general counsel, and project manager for construction management, architectural and engineering consulting, and construction law firms.

Prior to A.P. Construction, Jason was General Counsel to two operating entities of the STO Building Group – Pavarini McGovern and Ajax Building Company.  His previous experience including project management with Bovis Lend Lease in its New York City healthcare group, the construction consultancy Vidaris, and Holt Construction. After gaining his J.D. he joined Peckar & Abramson, a leading construction law firm based in New York City, and he subsequently held a position as General Counsel and Managing Director with Vidaris.

Jason earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, an M.B.A. from SUNY Oswego, and B.S. in Business Management from Babson College. He is arbitrator and mediator with the American Arbitration Association.  He is a founding member of the construction committee for the World Cares Center and is a member of several committees of the American Bar Association. Jason is also an Advisor of Buildings Anywhere Inc. and its past Cofounder and President.
