Commercial

Our Commercial Division completes approximately 80+ projects per year which makes up one-third of our total volume of all projects. We have completed a broad range of projects to assist building owners with capital improvements to upgrade their facilities and improve their leasing that include exterior façade changes, plazas & entry canopies, cafes & kitchens, lobbies, corridors & restrooms, pre-builds & white boxes, mechanical & electrical systems upgrades, custom millwork and roofs. We have also worked with tenants on projects ranging from minor improvements in occupied spaces to planning and construction of new offices including complex trading floors, reception areas, conference facilities, open seating spaces, huddle areas, staircases, and pantries.

Education

We have experience with both public and private educational facilities. Projects include facilities for day care, elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as higher education. Construction has encompassed both new structures and renovations to occupied facilities and ranged from upgrades to specialty rooms to an entirely new 325,000 square foot high school. We have also completed athletic facilities, libraries, auditoriums, and site improvements. Our extensive expertise working in occupied schools, and planning and implementing programs ensures student safety and the protection of ongoing school operations.

Healthcare

Our experience in the healthcare market includes hospital renovations, outpatient care facilities, new medical office buildings, and housing for the elderly with special needs. Working within an operating hospital requires specific organizational and construction skills. We have completed projects ranging from less than 2,000 square feet to over 50,000 square feet including intensive care units, operating rooms, clinical laboratories, cardiovascular and post-anesthesia care units, central processing areas, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, diabetes, orthopedic, and family practice walk-in facilities. Our experience with the complex tasks of performing major renovations in existing or new medical facilities allows us to fully understand the requirements for patient safety, systems integrity, facilities management, and protection of ongoing medical operations.

Multifamily & Senior Living

We have expertise in multifamily housing, mixed-use developments, senior living facilities, historic structures, and subsidized residential units. Each project has been unique and presented specific construction, scheduling, or logistical challenges. Projects have been completed in both urban and suburban locations and have included parking structures, elevators, lobbies, fitness centers, courtyards and gardens, conference facilities, and retail spaces. We have extensive experience with high-end finishes, intricate millwork applications in wood, metal, stone, and synthetic materials, as well as highly sensitive mechanical systems and complex lighting arrangements.

Private Clubs

We have completed a broad range of private clubs projects from new, out-of-ground structures to renovations, as well as additions and alterations to occupied facilities which require complex organizational and scheduling skills to ensure the safety of employees and club members with a minimum of disruption. We have completed projects ranging from capital improvements less than 2,000 square feet to out-of-ground clubhouses over 60,000 square feet. Projects have included dining facilities and kitchens, pools, tennis and squash courts, and locker rooms, as well as new roofs, high-end custom finishes, maintenance facilities, and sophisticated mechanical systems..

Nonprofit, Municipal & Specialties

We have extensive experience working on a variety of special structures including municipal facilities, houses of worship, national and local nonprofit organizations. We are adept at working with building committees for these organizations and assisting them in meeting their design and construction goals through extensive preconstruction services, creative logistical and phasing plans, and budget controls.
