A.P. Construction Company has completed the construction of VUE New Canaan, a new 235,000 square-foot luxury condominium community located near the New Canaan train station in downtown New Canaan, CT.
The $48 million multifamily project replaced the seven structures known as the Merritt Apartments complex and consists of four buildings built over subterranean garages. Each of the buildings has a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Two of the buildings have 59 rental apartments, while the other two buildings have 40 condominium units.
The condominium units feature unique light-filled open floor plans with custom kitchens, spa-like bathrooms with heated floors, custom closets, and gas fireplaces. The rental apartments have 9-foot ceilings, modern kitchens, laundry facilities, and personal HVAC systems in every residence. The rental apartments reached full occupancy within 90 days of completion.
