Project Description:
- Project involved the replacement of the entire pool area with a new pool, children’s pool, snack bar, changing rooms, camp building, and related facilities.
- New pool is 5,800 square feet with six competition lanes, two diving boards, and a 30-foot-wide stepped entry area. New 450 square foot children’s pool with a zero point entry is adjacent. Pool is surrounded by extensive concrete deck and on two sides with a shade pergola.
- New 1,300 square foot building for the summer camp and skeet shooting in the winter is located just east of the pool area. Building includes a pavilion with fireplace, office, pantry, and restrooms. In addition, the existing camp changing rooms were renovated and covered areas added on each side.
- Two-story 2,800 square foot snack bar building is built into the grade so access to the upper level is from the pool deck and to the lower level is from the parking lot. Upper level has a kitchen and serving area, changing rooms, restrooms, and an additional 2,000 square feet of extended roof to create covered dining and access. Lower level has storage rooms and pool mechanical equipment.

- Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, logistical planning, safety planning, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
