Project Description:

  • Interior renovation to create headquarters for this internationally renowned not-for-profit group.  Work was on two floors and included the reuse of several existing features.   Facilities included reception area, open work stations, offices, conference facilities, pantries, lunch room, IT room, and mailroom.
  • Initial schedule was for a five month construction period but due to a two month delay in receiving the building permit and the sale of Save The Children’s existing office building, the construction needed to be completed in three months which required detailed scheduling, expedited deliveries, extended work hours, and constant coordination with the design team and the Owner, and the Landlord.
  • Extensive use of branding graphics required special consideration of wall finishes and lighting placement.
  • Construction was completed in an occupied building with special logistical measures required to avoid disturbance of other tenants.
  • New natural gas fueled generator in close proximity to a flood zone required special permit and construction considerations and was completed on a separate schedule.
