Project Description:

  • Complete removal and replacement of the existing pool and pool house with a new multi-functional 7,000 square foot structure which includes lockers, reception/administration area, dining area, kitchen/servery, camp building, and tennis pro shop.  The roof connects the separate buildings and allows for access control and integration of the various functions.
  • 5,000 square foot pool includes six lanes and a diving well. A separate children’s pool is located adjacent to the main pool.  Extensive concrete decks and open lawns surround the pools.
  • Snack bar includes a 1,200 square foot full service kitchen and serving window adjacent to an additional 1,200 square feet of covered outdoor dining overlooking the pool deck.
  • Other structures include a tennis viewing platform and a pump house for the pool equipment. Site work included extensive terraces, walls, decking, and a new parking lot.  The tennis courts were re-constructed under a separate contract at the same time requiring careful logistical planning.
  • Construction management services included: constructability review, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling of all construction activities and commissioning oversight.
