Project Description:
- Project required the complete renovation of a two-story building, converting it from single tenant office use to multiple medical suites on two floors with different types of facilities, depending on the medical specialty. Work included data infrastructure and upgrading building automation systems.
- Construction management services included: budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, pre-purchase program, scheduling and construction.
PHASE I: 32,000 SF; $4,100,000
- The first phase included all work on the second floor including construction of seven individual medical suites with their own waiting rooms, offices, exam and procedure rooms.
- Extensive plumbing infrastructure work was required in order to support the individual medical suites.
PHASE II: 18,000 sf; $2,700,000
- The second phase was limited to the south end of the first floor but included a cafeteria, meeting rooms, pharmacy, CAT scan and X-ray rooms.
- Additionally, there are six stand-alone medical suites that compliment those built on the second floor.
