Project Description:
- Relocation of MRI, Rapid CT Scanner, Digital Mammography, Ultrasound and X-Ray facilities from Stamford Hospital to a new off-site, outpatient diagnostic center.
- MRI installation included both Magnetic and RF Shielding.
- Designed with Stamford Hospital’s “Planetree” focus of patient-centered care. The interior design is a combination of warm, earth tone colors with carpeting and hard wood floors.
- Each procedure room has its own dedicated dressing room.
- Patients having an MRI have their own designated quiet area to prepare for the test.
- Installed picture archiving technology (PACS) allowing radiologists to easily transmit test results and imagery to other physicians and specialists at the hospital, Stamford Health System’s Tully Health Center.
