Project Description:
- $30 million multi-phase revitalization featuring a redesigned train station, new anchor restaurant, modernized mixed-use space, new pedestrian and commuter pathways, improved train platform access, the replacement of all sidewalks and a staircase, and all new granite curbing for an entire street.
- Phase 1 – Completed August 2024: Careful deconstruction of the existing theater completed with minimal disruption.
- Phase 2: Construction of a new 5,000-square-foot anchor restaurant with expansive outdoor seating, large sliding glass doors, and a planted green roof, designed with soil and plantings to improve water quality and management.
- Phase 3: Renovation and modernization of the 10 existing storefronts and spaces.
- Phase 4 – Completed January 2026: Comprehensive train station renovation includes improved platform access and new pedestrian pathways, retail spaces, digital signage, new full-glass facade entrances, wood-slatted ceilings, designer lighting, upgraded restrooms, flooring, glass railings, and a new elevator.
- Construction management services included: constructability review, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
