Project Description:
- Comprehensive multi-phase renovation and expansion of three active elementary schools in Darien, CT – Hindley, Holmes, and Royle – including upgrades to both interior and exterior spaces.
- The project includes the demolition of select, outdated existing structures and portable classrooms, construction of new modern learning spaces and a dedicated music wing, upgraded mechanical systems, and new outdoor courtyards and activity areas.
- All work is being executed while schools remain fully operational, requiring careful phasing, rigorous safety planning, and close coordination to minimize disruption to students and staff.
- Construction management services included: constructability reviews, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
