Project Description:
- The project involved demolishing and reconfiguring seven rooms to create a large open space for physical therapy needs. A new entry and lobby with a gas fireplace and sophisticated lighting were constructed, along with a private waiting room. A new pantry, bathroom, and employee locker room was also installed.
- Metal stud framing finished with drywall, paint, and ACT ceiling, featuring a faux wood ceiling with integrated lighting in the physical therapy room.
- Replaced seven Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems with new air handling units, including fire supervision system modifications to meet safety standards.
- Construction adhered to state regulations, with work zones segregated by hard temporary walls, negative air pressure systems, and dust mitigation strategies to ensure resident safety and comfort.
- Construction management services included: constructability review, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor bid and award, safety and logistical planning, pre-purchase program, scheduling, and construction.
