Project Description:

  • Comprehensive renovation and expansion of a historic lakefront property, modernized to better serve club members while preserving the character of the original boathouse. Significant new construction was integrated to enhance functionality and elevate the overall member experience.
  • Major additions to the boathouse included expanded indoor dining areas, new locker and changing facilities, and additional storage. A larger snack shack and a fully rebuilt deck were constructed to improve outdoor gathering and service areas.
  • Extensive demolition and site preparation were required to remove outdated structures and ready the grounds for new facilities. Work included underground utility installation, excavation on steep terrain, and the expansion of roadways and parking areas to support increased use.
  • Large retaining walls were strategically built throughout the hillside site to stabilize slopes and create additional usable space.
  • Located in a heavily wooded area near a lake, the project required careful environmental planning, including tree preservation, silt fencing, and irrigation mitigation systems to protect the surrounding ecosystem.
