Project Description:
- The project consists of a master plan of a multitude of projects beginning with an out-of-ground, dormitory building aimed to be the first net-zero building for the facility.
- The new dormitory building will include 40 apartments – 18 single occupancy, 18 double occupancy, and 4 staff apartments.
- Construction projects include a fully electrical heating system, a sedum green roofs, a rooftop solar array with 241 solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations, hybrid wood and steel framing, Japanese Burnt Wood siding and triple-glazed European style windows.
- To ensure minimal disruption to the campus operations, the project will require extensive logistical coordination, temporary access roads, and an isolated construction site away from the active campus.
- APC’s careful preconstruction services that include planning, cost estimating, subcontractor bidding, scheduling and permitting will help to mitigate risks and keep the project on budget and schedule.
