Construction, is one of forty local accomplished business professionals between the ages of 21 and 40 who has been honored with the 2015 Fairfield County 40Under40 Award presented by the Fairfield County Business Journal. David and the other Award recipients have been chosen by a panel of judges for their extraordinary leadership, ongoing commitment to personal and professional development and their individual accomplishments that have made an impact in our local business sectors. David is the second APC employee to be honored with the 40Under40 Award, joining Joe Orlando who was a 2012 Fairfield County 40Under40 Award recipient.
A field of over 100 candidates were recently nominated by bosses or colleagues and only 40 Award recipients were selected by a panel of judges from the Fairfield County Business Journal. The recipients are from a variety of business sectors and were chosen based on their specific leadership and business accomplishments and personal business-improvement efforts. David was chosen in recognition of his ability to manage complicated construction projects including his work on a $30 M project for White Plains Hospital in White Plains, New York. Additionally, David has been very involved in his community for the past 11 years and is currently certified in the state of Connecticut as a Level 2 Volunteer Firefighter in Stamford servicing the Belltown area. He has previously serviced Darien and Noroton Heights as Lieutenant. David volunteers as an emergency medical worker with the Stamford EMS Academy and, in recent years, has volunteered his time with the Special Olympics of Connecticut, helping to coordinate their events. David is involved with Ashforth’s volunteer activities and returned this year as our Team’s Co-Captain for Stamford Hospital’s 20th annual Bennett Cancer Center – Hope in Motion Walk & Run, Connecticut’s largest participatory charity event.
